The iPET Network Level 3 Diploma is the highest qualification offered at Radleys Pet Styling & Academy, designed for those looking to enter or advance in the dog grooming industry. Training is delivered one-on-one in our fully operational grooming salon, providing real salon experience at a pace that suits you.
This Ofqual-regulated, nationally recognized qualification is ideal for those seeking employment as a stylist or starting their own dog grooming business. Over 30 days of hands-on training, students will groom at least 20 dogs of various breeds and coat types, with additional theory work completed within the academy and at home. No prior qualifications are required, allowing you to start directly at Level 3.
The course covers essential skills such as prepping, bathing, scissoring, clipping, nail trimming, and hand-stripping, alongside key topics like canine first aid, salon management, and customer care. Continuous assessment replaces traditional exams, making the learning process more approachable.

Kickstart your dog grooming career with our 15-day hands-on course. Ideal for beginners, you'll groom at least 10 dogs of various breeds, gaining essential skills in prepping, bathing, scissoring, clipping, and nail trimming.
No prior experience? No problem! This Level 3 qualification has no entry requirements and serves as a direct pathway to the iPET Network Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming and Styling, helping you become a fully qualified dog groomer.
You’ll be assessed through practical demonstrations and coursework. This flexible approach makes learning accessible and stress-free.
i-PET Network Level 3 Award in Introduction to Dog Grooming (5 Days) - £1,295 (Excl. VAT)
Start your dog grooming journey with our hands-on, 5-day course. Perfect for beginners and dog owners, this qualification covers prepping, bathing, nail trimming, and basic scissoring and clipping while grooming at least five dogs across three breeds.
With no prior experience needed, this course provides a solid foundation in dog grooming techniques. Assessment is through practical demonstrations and coursework—no exams required!
Upon completion, you can progress to the iPET Network Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming and Introduction to Styling or use your new skills to groom your own dog.
