Student Dog Grooming Appointments

Help train the next generation of professional dog groomers while your dog enjoys a supervised groom at a reduced price.

All student grooms are carried out at Radleys Grooming Academy under the constant guidance and supervision of our experienced grooming tutors. We use the same professional products and equipment as our salon, although student appointments take longer to allow time for teaching, demonstrations and assessment.

Your dog’s welfare, comfort and safety will always remain our highest priority.

 

Prices

Student grooming appointments are available from £20, depending on the service, breed, size and coat.

Full student grooms for selected breeds are available from £38.

 

Regular Grooming Models

Dogs accepted onto our regular student grooming scheme must normally:

• Attend every six to eight weeks

• Be suitable for a student learning environment

• Be groomed to breed standard or another recognised style

• Be available for the longer student appointment time

 

We are currently looking for:

• Cocker Spaniels

• Poodles

• West Highland White Terriers

• Miniature Schnauzers

• Scottish Terriers

• Poodle crosses

• Other hand-scissored breeds

• Border Terriers suitable for hand-stripping

 

Requirements change depending on the students and qualifications currently being taught.
